Hello!
I’m Shannon Owen, I create soft sculpture and jewelry from needle-felted and wet-felted wool. I often incorporate materials like stone, silicone, beads or acrylic embellishments.
I earned my BFA in Metalsmithing & Jewelry from Maine College of Art in 2014. I received additional training in felting from Arrowmont School of Arts and Craft and the Appalachian Center for Craft in Tennessee. I have assisted several sculptural felting courses taught by Shana Kohnstamm at Arrowmont School.
